The spaceThis building hails from the Regency Era, laid out over four levels, maintaining the character and form of the period. As such, it features a winding, narrow staircase, which leads to the magical Scarlet Room. For the average, agile adult, this shouldn't be an issue. If you're enchanted by charming, beautiful, and somewhat magic spaces, crammed full of unique & eye-catching art that capture your imagination, then this is certainly the space for you!
It's perfect for single travellers or couples seeking an alternative to bland hotel rooms and in search of a unique, central Brighton location.
The room has been designed with your comfort as well as practicality in mind. Enjoy the Regency style bed and curtains, opulent wallpaper and soft furnishings whilst making full use of the large wooden workspace which doubles as a place to work or eat. The room has plenty of storage, hanging space, a full size fridge and tea/coffee facilities.
Not forgetting the wifi and large smart TV for your viewing pleasure. And of course the beautifully tiled en suite wet room. All of which means you can enjoy self contained comfort whilst staying here.
Access to the house is a mini adventure via the nearby famous Quadrophenia alley! For all you movie buffs! You will then enter the entrance hallway via the rear patio on the ground floor. Taking in the vibrant Brighton mural by local artist Dave Pop on your left.

Guest accessWe respectfully request photo ID of all attending adult guests. This is for our peace of mind and due to the high value art and furnishings throughout our home. You can share ID in advance on the app, or via a secure, encrypted text platform of your choice. Or you can show ID on arrival via our video security system. However, we recommend for speed doing this ahead of check in. We will not store IDs after check out.
Although the whole house can be available to book, in this instance your booking is just for the Scarlet Room. This means you have access just to that en suite room via the entrance hallway & outside patio.

While we hold a soft spot for our cuddly, furry friends, unfortunately, our home isn't equipped to host them.

Smoking is forbidden inside the home. Detection of smoking will result in charges for freshening the air and deep-cleaning the furniture.
NO FESTIVITIES OR GATHERINGS
Please honour our home by treating it with the same care as your own, thereby preserving its pristine condition for future visitors and your return trips.
STAIR ACCESS ONLY, NO ELEVATOR
Please note the house has steep narrow stairs and does not include an elevator.
MINIMUM AGE: 13 YEARS (unless agreed otherwise in advance). One older child accompanied by the booking adult is acceptable.
